Collection: PRIDE

It was not until 1994 that rainbow flag was establish as the symbol LGBTQ pride. However, today we travel back sixteen years further to when we will be taveling back to when the openly gay artist, Gilbert Baker, and a drag Queen came together to create a symbol of pride that speaks, “This Is Who I Am.”

With the rainbow in the sky as his inspiration Baker denoted hot pink for sex, red for life, orange for healing, yellow for sunlight, green for nature, turquoise for art, indigo for harmony, and violet for spirit. This month we celebrate PRIDE in all it’s true colors.
